This is the first holiday season I have not had a new book released. I apoligize as this year I just had to let it go as I found I had too many things colliding with each other, waiting to get done. Then too, in the writing world, it seems like it goes at a “snails pace”as after finishing the manuscript, it now requires numerous editing, a cover designed and the inside pages written. And, then final approval takes time! God willling, I am planing on it being ready for a late next summer. However, for this year I do have a great selection to choose from.
The tentative title for this book number eleven, is Times Like This. I thought it was time to bring Lindy Lewis, my favorite character out of seclusion. She has been in Birch Lake living with her all time special boyfriend, Reed Conners. A year or two has gone by and she now sees herself gaining too much weight from the foods in the north, and her life becoming too complacent, all things considered.
It has been fun writing this book having Lindy Lewis back with me. Some of the incidents I use here, are from some of my own thoughts and actions, and then her loving Hilton Head Island, SC is my favortie retreat.
After the first of the year I will be starting a new blog, so hopefully you all will stop by and see me then.
